It aims to clarify the practices of the production embargo of theses and dissertations foreseen in the policies of these RIs and evaluates the condition of the policies of these repositories. It establishes, based on the results and in the literature, that there is a need for the creation of guidelines at national level for the elaboration and standardisation of repositories for the greater organisation and guarantee of Open Access.
